Due to the current global situation, where the crude oil price has risen sharply and as a result also the fuel price, we will need to compensate for this unforeseen cost increase. The price increase is completely beyond our control and is classified as force majeure.
Adjustment of fuel-related surcharges
As of 2026-06-01, we will revert to monthly adjustments of our Fuel Adjustment/Currency Adjustment. The corresponding change will also be applied to Emergency Fuel & BAF surcharge. This means that updates will be made monthly instead of weekly.

ICS2 RELEASE 3 – IMPORT CONTROL SYSTEM 2: SHIPMENTS TO THE EU FROM NON-EU COUNTRIES
As of December 4, 2024, Import Control System 2 (ICS2) Release 3 will come into effect for sea and inland waterway transport. This introduces new requirements for pre-arrival submission of safety and customs information for goods entering the EU, including Norway, Switzerland, and Northern Ireland. ICS2 aims to enhance security by collecting detailed data about goods before arrival, supporting risk-based controls and promoting the free flow of legitimate trade.
